Bikram Yoga is suited to all ages, experience levels and it is designed for men, women, and young adults.

The class is divided into two parts, the standing and the floor series. The first half of the class focuses on building strength, flexibility, and balance in the standing postures. The transition point is a two minute break, known as savasana, on the floor to let your heart rate and blood circulation return to its normal state.

The remaining floor postures are designed to work deeply into all of the major systems in the body. This is where Bikram likes to say “the real yoga beings” through healing and restoration of joints and spine.
