Introducing BYLKN’s Karma Yoga Program “Share & Receive”

We’re looking for yogis to share their energy with our teachers and students by contributing their helping hands “behind the scenes” of the studio.

Volunteers receive FREE unlimited classes for their assistance!

We’re currently in need of 1-2 new volunteers, so take a peek below at what the Karma Yoga program is all about and email the studio to notify us of your interest today!

How does the Karma Yoga work?
Karma Yoga Members provide “helping hands” twice a week.
Each shift is approximately 1 hour in duration during non-class times.
Flexibility in scheduling shifts & FREE unlimited yoga classes are available.

What does an Karma Yoga Team Member do?
Our Karma Yoga Team Members are responsible for helping out with essential tasks throughout the studio. General duties can include (but aren’t limited to) some of the following things:
Helping clean studios before or after classes
Cleaning common areas of the studio – lobby, hallways, locker rooms, and yoga rooms.
Restocking supplies and products
Watering plants and blowing debris away from front entrance of studio.

Hi there! My name is Maggie Steelman and I am interested in the work share program you have available. I have recently moved to Salisbury, North Carolina from Portland, Oregon, where I did a work share program there (a few years ago). I am flexible with my schedule, as I am not yet working, so this would be extra perfect for me. I haven’t practiced in a long time, but would love to get back into it. I plan on coming in this week to get started again, but I saw this and had to jump on it! Thank you!!

Looks like you have more volunteers than you need but I do have an interest.
Dan Taulborg, you know where to find me.

I am Kathy Hesler. I joined about 2 months ago when my friend Terry told me about it. I moved up to Mooresville from South Charlotte a bit over 3 years ago.
Over the years I have instructed NIA (Black Belt), various modalities of yoga; way back Zumba, Step and have some other certifications.
I am currently not working so my hours are flexible.
Would love to be more involved.
Over the years I have volunteered in studios on the various named work programs and enjoyed them.
